Solaris (Солярис the original title) the science fiction novel by Stanislav Lem next year will turn 60 years, but the plot is still captivating and the title is enchanting. After the book, there was the movie directed by Andrei Tarkovsky and a remake by Steven Soderbergh starring George Clooney.
The plot centers on a space station orbiting the fictional planet Solaris, where a scientific mission has stalled because the skeleton crew of three scientists has fallen into emotional crises. Psychologist Kris Kelvin travels to the station in order to evaluate the situation, only to encounter the same mysterious phenomena as the others.
The two shirts I designed inspired by the novel have the advantage of designing the space around and thinking that the void that surrounds us is not as empty as one might think. Then, the addition of an external planet to our solar system and with completely different rules and physics is certainly fascinating and deserves to find the space on the front of a shirt, if only to spend an evening explaining the greatness of the sky and the existence of a planet that manages to bring our thoughts to life, and gets back those who have abandoned us, but who are alive in our memories and who will accompany us for the rest of our existence.
